For local dealers, we wrote :60 and :30 radio spots to promote the latest DirecTv offers like ‘Best Deal Ever’ and ‘Switch & Save’. These were some of my favorite assignments as a writer. Not just because it meant getting a free lunch at the recording session, but because all you needed to bring an idea to life was words on a page.
